LEARNING DISABILITIES
At Vincent-Pope Tutoring, our goal is to ensure that students with learning disabilities have equal access to education, and we have extensive experience teaching students with a variety of learning disabilities related to ADD, ADHD, dyslexia, executive functioning deficits, processing difficulties, anxiety, panic attacks, and depression.
Our tutors understand the need to tutor students who have learning disabilities with the additional patience, empathy, and sensitivity necessary to allow them to meet their full potential, in a caring and supportive environment.
We are also aware that certain learning disabilities can affect a student's planning, organization, strategizing, and time management skills, and we are experienced in providing the structure and support required to allow our students to overcome these challenges.
We frequently tutor students with test accommodations including extended time, frequent breaks, special seating arrangements, and exam administration in small group settings or individual quiet rooms.
